Our precision machined slide cuts are probably second to somebody, but we haven’t met them yet. This slide cut is for the Holosun 509t, the only optic we recommend these days. Not only do we cut the slide perfectly, but our cut sits the optic down lower than any other we’ve seen, so low in fact that factory sights are usable as backups.
You ship your slide to us and we machine it, then ship it back. You can get the cut in raw or have us treat the cut area with a ceramic coating. You can have the cut coating any color you want as long as it’s black. Other colors may come later, but for now black is all you get. If you choose to have the whole slide coated, you can choose from one of the options listed.
The Holosun 509t is strong, light, and enclosed. We switched to using these exclusively after a match in the snow. During that match, snowflakes kept landing in our emitters on the 508t we were using at the time and blurring the reticle. We realized at that moment that enclosed emitter optics were superior and looked at options. The 509t was the best overall option especially because of the extremely secure mounting method. The dovetail used on the 509 is far superior to any bolt on plate design both in terms of retention as well as holding a zero when the optic is removed.

The slide cut Jon did was quick, and extremely nice. My optic had to be removed to put different Iron sights on. The 509T snapped into place, with zero slop, and retained zero.
